WORD ALIVE BIBLE INSTITUTE opened its doors in September 1998, with a desire to offer a balanced Charismatic Bible and theological training. Since then, it has contributed largely to the training of servants of God from both French speaking and English speaking Africa, thereby helping to build the Body of Christ in Africa, and more especially among peoples and countries with Islamic majority. The classes are bilingual, French and English; though most students are French speaking.
Each year students graduate from the different programs and the most of which are now working as church planters in several regions of Senegal and outside. The programs of the Institute include: A dynamic one-year discipleship program, A four year theological program leading to a Bachelors in Theology, and A special discipleship program in the local program (Wolof Indigenous language spoken in Senegal).
INSTITUT BIBLIQUE PAROLE VIVANTE is inter-denominational and strives to maintain a balanced theology in its approach and comprehension of the Holy scriptures. Our desire is to uphold spiritual truths and to be a full gospel Bible school accepting all students without ethnic, racial or doctrinal distinctions. From 1998 to 2009, over 300 students have graduated from the different programs. Pastors from different denominations in Senegal have benefited from one program or the other both for themselves or their members. Our vision is to accomplish the great commission through leadership training for the end-time harvest.

Our Affiliations :
IBPV is affiliated to Shalom Bible College and Seminary which is recognized by the State of Iowa as a non profit organization granting certified Christian Education up to doctorate level. Shalom Bible College is accredited by the American Accrediting Association of Theological Institutions and affiliated to the International Fellowship of Full Gospel Churches and Ministries.
IBPV is a member of Victory International Bible School, Oklahoma, and Christ for the Nations Association of Bible Schools, Dallas, Texas.
